On the 2nd of September 2026 the ship, already renamed TUBERK IMAMOGLU sunk in the Sea of Marmara after a collision with chemical tanker ALSU (imo 9808742).The 90 meter Turkish-flagged general cargo ship was en route to the Black Sea port of Eregli from Iskenderun when the collision happened. According to the maritime directorate, it was carrying 4,200 tons of rolled steel. Authorities believe it sank in waters around 900 meters deep.
