The vessel touched the bottom after dragging anchor in heavy weather on 28/11/2019 in the Gulf of Tonkin five miles east of Vung Ang (Vietnam). Port side of the hull below the waterline was damaged, the vessel partially sank after taking water in engine room. The 18 crewmembers were rescued by local tugs.
