Built in 1976 by Arhemsche Scheepsbouw Mij. in Arnhem (Netherlands). Built for Mammoet Shipping in Amsterdam, original name HAPPY RUNNER. On 17 April 1982 during loading at New Orleans (U.S.A.) the vesseld capsized and sunk. On 18 September 1982 the vessel was raised. On 20 August 1983 the vessel arrived in Mobile (U.S.A.) for repairs. After repairs she was sold to Dock Express Shipping in Rotterdam (Netherlands). The ship was renamed DOCK EXPRESS TEXAS and sailed the United States' flag.
