On july 14th 2012 she suffered an explosion in her cargo hold, followed by a large fire, while on passage from Charleston, USA to Antwerp, Belgium. Vessel was abandoned by her crew. On september 9th 2012 she arrived in tow at Wilhelmshaven, Germany to be discharged and inspected. On march 15th 2013 she left Wilhelmshaven under own power bound for Constanta, Romania. Here she got a new midship section
