On 26 September 2012, the ship, sailing under the name EVERTON, was immobilized due to engineroom and accomodation fire about 180 nautical miles east of Beira (Mozambique). On 29 September a tug arrived and a salvage team started reinstate e-power. On 4 October another tug arrived and the convoy proceeded towards Beira, arrival on 7 October. Due to port congestion the decission was made to sail to Durban (South Africa), arriving at Durban Roads on 20 October. Ship redelivered to the owners on 29 October.
