On the 30th October 2012 the vessel sank east of Sri Lanka. The ship was enroute Rangoon (Myanmar) to New Tutocorin (India) loaded with wood products. It was reported that the cargo began shifting, likely destabilizing the ship and causing it to founder. Eighteen people of the ships total crew of 22 were rescued, the captain, chief mechanic, a mechanic and a sailor are still missing.
