This ship was hijacked by pirates in the Indian Ocean on 10 October 2010, along with her 20 Filipino crew while underway to Mombasa (Kenya) from Singapore. During her days in captivity the ship was used by pirates as a mother-ship. On 26 February 2011 the vessel was released.
